Melton clothing store changing hands
Melton clothing store Molly & Me in Burton Street is set to close at the end of this month, after six years in the town, but it will be re-opening with the same stock under a new owner and name.
Molly & Me owner Ken Newell and his wife, Helena, are retiring to Ireland. Ken said: “We’ve told all our customers and thanked them all. Melton is a lovely town so we’re sad to be going in many ways but we’re looking forward to the future.”
The shop is expected to re-open under its new name ‘Scotts’ in September.
