Bishop blesses improvements made at Waltham Church
Nine months after his last visit, Waltham Church was delighted to welcome back Bishop Martyn Snow, Bishop of Leicester, who blessed the renovations and the building for its future use.
He chose to attend one of the monthly Messy Church services, where he took part in a Table Talk session, put his handprint on a fabric banner and joined in with others making towers, sand castles and chocolate crispies.
He also admired Waltham Primary School’s display on endurance and the parable of the two builders, which included drawings of the church of the future.
Before the Bishop departed he was presented with a small hamper of local goodies.
