A woman was airlifted to hospital after her car was involved in a collision with a bus.
The crash occurred in Burrough Road, John O Gaunt, close to the Marefield road junction on Wednesday of last week.

Two fire crews from Melton attended the scene of the accident just after 5pm. The female did not need to be cut free from the vehicle but firefighters helped paramedics stretcher her to an air ambulance waiting in a nearby field.

She was taken to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre.

The driver of the coach, owned by Nesbit Brothers of Somerby, was not hurt and there were no passengers on board at the time.
