Troubled star's father-in-law in serious accident
FRIDAY 4PM: The father-in-law of troubled star Amy Winehouse has been involved in an accident injuring his spine.
Lance Fielder, from Old Dalby, is the natural dad of DJ Blake Fielder-Civil, husband of the Back to Black singer.
Mr Fielder was taken to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham on Friday.
A spokesman for the hospital said he was receiving treatment for a spinal injury and was due to be transferred on Wednesday night to a specialist rehabilitation centre in Sheffield for further treatment.
His son is currently on remand in Pentonville prison awaiting trial on June 2, for assault and perverting the course of justice.
