WEDNESDAY NOON: Organisers behind Scalford Day have been counting their lucky stars after the sun came out for the event·
The day included rides for the children and a fancy dress party plus a chance to look at the history behind Scalford School.
One of the organisers, Sarah Goodwin said: "It was an excellent day, the stalls were well received and we are all thankful that the weather was good on the day. We just wanted it to be a nice community event and it went really well."
All proceeds raised have been put into the community chest fund for the village.
