Star ties the knot at Belvoir Castle
THURSDAY 6AM: Pop Idol star Gareth Gates tied the knot at a secret ceremony at Belvoir Castle on Friday.
The 24-year-old singer broke thousands of hearts when he wed his long-term love, dancer Suzanne Mole.
Gates, runner-up to Will Young in the 2002 ITV show, joins a succession of A-listers to hold secret dos in the area.
Last year Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick married Lisa Roughead in Wymondham followed by a reception at Stapleford Park.
And Prince Azim of Brunei held a superstar studded birthday party at the swish country hotel with Michael Jackson, Dionne Warwick, Raquel Welch and Faye Dunaway all guests at the bash.
