FRIDAY 8AM: Mega structures were built by children at Buckminster Primary School this week as part of the school's science and technology week.
Pupils also enjoyed mad science workshops and Knex challenges, had a look around the E-on Discovery Truck and visited Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham, Woolsthorpe Manor and a mobile planetarium in Sewstern Village Hall.
Teacher Kate Hunt said: "This has been a very exciting week for the children who have had the opportunity to experiment, create and design using materials not normally available, while also benefitting from the expertise of the visitors running the workshops.
"The children have been mesmerised at times with some of the things that they have seen and been totally absorbed with all the practical activities."
