SLIDESHOW: The streets were buzzing with excitement as pupils from a Melton school took over market Place with their carnival.
Staff and pupils from the Grove Primary School demonstrated their hard work with a celebration carnival.

Singing, dancing and music were on the agenda as the children marched through the town and performed in Market Place.

Mike Owen, headteacher, said: "We wanted to create an event that allowed the pupils and teachers to demonstrate the excellent work that they have been doing as part of the Mighty Creative project, the carnival was the perfect solution."

The children performed the carnival as a dress rehearsal for their end of year celebration event at Melton Theatre on Wednesday and Thursday evening.
