One of Melton's most recognisable fundraisers donned his bunny suit this Easter and went out collecting again - despite suffering from Parkinson's disease.
Howard Brooks, who made it onto the Melton Times New Year Honours list in January for collecting £1,000, once again got on his customised tricycle and went out in the town centre, raising around £400.

He said: "I think it's gone really well, much better than I expected.

"The first time I went out fundraising I was testing the waters and had no idea how much I'd get.

"It's great because I can give it to the people who help me and other sufferers."

The money raised will be divided between Howard's doctor's surgery in Long Clawson and the Parkinson's Disease Society.

Howard first started fundraising last Christmas. He plans to continue later in the year with another project in Melton, as well as moving on to Old Dalby to raise more money.
