THURSDAY NOON: POLICE have found the remains of a cannabis factory after executing a warrant on a lorry container at Melton Airfield in Dalby Road.
The warrant was executed at about 5.22pm last Tuesday (June 30).
A Leicestershire police spokesman said: "The remains of a cannabis factory were found in the container.
"The cannabis plants had already been cropped, but various equipment was seized by officers for forensic examination.
"Nobody was found at the scene and no arrests were made. An investigation is ongoing."
