Melton in Bloom plant stall

A plant stall run by Melton In Bloom volunteers at Saturday's street market raised £166.50 towards its 2008 projects.
Chairman Margaret Pearson said: "Lots of plants were donated to generate funds and we only had a few left over at the end which was brilliant. It was also a great opportunity for people to meet us and learn more about what we are doing."
The In Bloom committee is always on the look out for helpers as it gears up for this summer's East Midlands in Bloom competition. If you are interested in getting involved, planting or fundraising, call Margaret Pearson on (01664) 500267.
