TUESDAY 4PM: Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in a Melton alleyway.
The incident happened at about 9.20pm on Thursday (Nov 6) when the 22-year-old victim was walking along an alleyway between Dalby Road and Kestrel Road. She was passed by a man, who grabbed her top, causing it to rip.

The man is described as white, about 5ft 10ins tall, aged in his mid to late 20s and of slim build. He was wearing a navy hooded top, blue jeans and a silver Celtic ring on his right index finger.

Pc Tracey Cook, who is investigating, said: "We would like to hear from anybody who witnessed this assault or saw a man matching this description in the area at the time."

Anyone with any information should contact Pc 4652 Tracey Cook on (0116) 222 2222 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
