A classic car and bike meet at Melton Mowbray Golf Club has raised £233 for Alzheimer’s Society.

The event in club’s car park was the 2nd time a rally was held following a successful meet in June where a selection of classic cars, motorcycles and vintage supercars attended from Grantham, Stamford and Melton.

Melton Mowbray Golf Club office manager Sue Millward said: “It was fantastic to see the wide variety of cars and motor bikes that came.

“Club captain Brendan Boyce raised £233 on the tombola for the Alzheimer’s Society. Many thanks to those who contributed by buying tombola tickets or donated prizes.”

A special message of thanks is given to the club caterers and bar managers for serving Sunday lunches.
