VIDEO FRIDAY 10.30AM: A Somerby family are enjoying every moment with a record-equalling litter of Dalmatian puppies before they go to new homes.
Nicola and Adam Morley and their two children still can't believe beloved dog Button produced 15 little ones last month, thought to equal the UK live litter record for the breed.

In three weeks the puppies, getting bigger and furrier by the day, will be old enough to go to their new homes with friends, family and interested dog lovers.

In the meantime the family are spending £30 a day feeding and caring for the brood, one of which is being kept to stay with Button.

Mrs Morley said: "It's been lovely, I've really enjoyed it, if I could sum it up I'd say it's been fantastic, but sheer hell at the same time in a good way."

A 16th puppy, which would have broken the litter record, tragically died during birth. For the very latest on the litter see the November 22 edition of the Melton Times.
