Reader Ken Pritchett has responded to our request for old school and sports team photos by sending in this one of the First XI squad at King Edward VII Grammar School.
It was taken in either 1948 or 1949 and Ken, of Beaumont Gardens, Melton, can name all the players. "I hope this photo will bring back a few memories."
They were, back row, from left:
A Peberdy, A Cobley, D Oxby, K Eggleston (games master), K Pritchett, A Whittemore and P Roberts; front row, W Littlejohn, Slaney, D Goodson, D Smith, J Griffin and J Collins.
