THE cast are busy with last minute rehearsals, final adjustments are being made to the costumes and the musicians are ready to tune up.
Tomorrow (Friday, February 5) night is the big night as the curtain rises on Whissendine STARS' panto Sleeping Beauty in the village hall.
Organisers say the show promises to be packed with humour and fabulous songs.
Cara Lilley, who won an award at the Panto Alliance last year, makes an appearance as Nanny Cuddles and Ben Taylor, who won the Dave Cooper Award for best newcomer last year, has returned to join the cast.
Performances are tomorrow at 7.30pm and Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets are £5 adults and £4 concessions and can be bought from the two pubs in the village - The White Lion and The Three Horseshoes.
