Half-term fun at Children’s Fair
Children's Fair
It’s half-term and there’s plenty in Melton to keep your youngsters entertained including all the fun of the Children’s Fair.
Formerly the Pork Pie Street Fair, the fair is running in the town centre until Friday.
Organised by Melton’s Town Estate the funfair is running daily from 10am until about 5pm.
All rides cost £1 however, the fair is smaller this year than it has been in previous years in order to reduce disruption to nearby shops.
Town bailiff Andrew Cooper, of Melton Town Estate, said: “A lot of the family favourite rides are back including, the runaway train in Market Place, helter skelters and hook the duck for smaller children”
l Twinlakes Family Scream Park is running until 2nd November.
It offers unique family spine-tingling attractions and has grown 10,000 pumpkins for youngsters to carve.
There will also be wicked workshops, creepy competitions and trick and treat.
As well as access to the parks Halloween scare-zones, including Dungeon Quest, Haunted Castle Hunt, Farmhouse of Fear and Curtain Chaos.
