Flu fighters shortlisted

LEICESTERSHIRE Partnerships NHS Trust’s flu fighting team are in the running for a national award.

The team have been recognised for vaccinating 2,360 frontline NHS staff and protecting themselves and patients across the area from the virus.

Professor Sab Bhaumik, medical director, said: “The flu fighting team’s commitment to this year’s Flu Fighter Campaign has been fantastic.”
