* An evening of netball on Monday, February 25 from 4pm to 9pm, covering all age ranges, at King Edward VII sports hall, £2 to play, split between our appeal and Declan's Miracle Appeal. To book call (01664) 410961 or 07794 011945.

* A coffee morning is to be held at Stonesby Community Centre on Friday, March 7 from 10am to noon. Entrance is £1. To help or donate items call Joy Burgin on (01664) 464819.

* Eastwell Village Institute will be the venue for a coffee morning on Saturday, March 15 between 10am and 2pm. To donate prizes call Janet Lusif on (01949) 860772.

* Melton Library is to host a coffee morning from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Tuesday, March 18, alongside activities such as Wriggly Readers and a local history event. For more details or to donate prizes call Brenda Clare on (01664) 560161.
