THURSDAY, 12.30pm: Hamilton Tennis Club's men's second team won a very tight match 5-4 against Carisbrooke E.
Tom Rowe and Andy Douglas won two sets 9-7, while Doug Hacking and Jose Sabino won two on tie-breaks and Nigel Haynes and Jon Hacking won another 9-6.

*The ladies' first team suffered their second defeat with a 6-3 loss to Leicestershire A.
Helen Thorpe and Charlie Griffin won two sets, but lost in a close match to the visitors top pair, while Di Burdett and Tracy White won one set.

Ed Blake / Peter Thorpe again won a maximum three sets with two each from Tom Rowe and James Rowe, and David Hamilton-Palmer and Alex Mayhew.

*The ladies' fourth team whitewashed Rothley Ivanhoe Fifths 9-0 with none of the pairs looking in danger of losing a set.
